A Veteran journalist Chuks Iloegbunam, has agreed with the statement made by the governor Anambra State, Chukwuma Soludo that all the gunmen nabbed in Anambra are Igbos.

Iloegbunam, who spoke as a guest on the Urban Radio political program, The Parliament, said that while Soludo spoke according to the figures available to him, there may also be criminal elements within the state who come from other ethnic groups and have not been apprehended yet.

Speaking on the state of insecurity in the nation, the journalist noted that the fight against insecurity, is a gradual process as perpetrators of violence and those who fund banditry and terrorism will not change overnight.

Odaze from Delta, who called in to contribute to the program said that governor Soludo spoke according to the data available to him, and advised Nigerians to take responsibility for their personal security.

The founder of the Centre for Spoken English and Phonetic Education Censpophed, Afam Okafor, has advised parents to invest in the self-capacity development of their children especially in their young ages. Afam gave the advice at the event which marked the end of the Centre’s 2022 Special English Phonetics, Presentation and Public speaking holiday class for children in primary and secondary schools. The holiday program which commenced on 23rd August comes to an end this weekend, and has been of great transformation to the participants.
