They made their demands during a town hall meeting with the governorship hopeful at Ugwogo Nike, Headquarters of Mbuluiyiukwu Development Centre and Emene, headquarters of Mbulujodo Development Centre both in Enugu East LGA, listing roads, employment, health infrastructure, industrialisation, education, and employment as major development priorities facing them,.

While pledging their unwavering support to Mbah, a former Senator representing Enugu Senatorial Zone, Gilbert Nnaji and Member representing Enugu East/Isi-Uzo Federal Constituency, Cornelius Nnaji, appealed to MBA to construct the Ugwogo Nike-Agbogazi Nike-Ubahu-Owo road, which they said would enhance accessibility and bring about socio-economic development of the area.

On his part, Rev. Fr. Cornelius Uwakwe appealed to MBAH to build more schools, well equipped hospitals, and markets in the area to help reduce the hardships of the people, while urging the PDP gubernatorial candidate to industrialize the area when elected.
