FALCONETS TO PLAY GHANA AT THE AFRICAN GAMES FINAL.

Nigeria’s FALCONETS have progressed to the final of the African Games after beating UGANDA 2-0 in CAPE COAST, GHANA, and would play the host nation GHANA who won their game 3-1 against SENEGAL.

Falconets’ substitutes ADAOBI OKAH and CHIAMAKA OKWUCHUKWU fired the winning goals to earn a 2-0 win over UGANDA U-20 yesterday.

CHRISTOPHER DANJUMA’s side are in pole position to defend their gold, having defeated the Ugandans to seal their place in the final.

On its part, the hosts, GHANA secured a spot in the final of the African Games women’s football tournament after the BLACK PRINCESSES delivered a stellar performance, defeating SENEGAL 3-1 at the CAPE COAST Stadium.
