FEC Approves The Establishment of A Planetarium And Museum At NASRDA.

The Federal Executive Council FEC yesterday sanctioned the establishment of a Planetarium and Museum at the National Space Research and Development Agency NASRDA following the regulatory guidance of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission ICRC.

The Acting Head, of Media and Publicity ICRC, Manji Yarling, who made this know in a statement yesterday in Abuja said the projects would adopt and equip, operate and maintain Public Private Partnership Model.

The project is designed to run for a concession period of 15 years and would generate a total of 30 billion Naira for both the Federal Government and the Private Sector Investor.

The Director-General of ICRC, Michael Ohiani, was quoted as saying the projects would boost the nation’s tourism sector and stem capital flight with a total of 2,160 visitors expected every week, out of which 360 will engage in the sky diving section and 1,800 visitors for other tourist activities.
