Federal Government to Complete 9,000 Special Facility Capacity Custodial Centers in three States

The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, yesterday said the federal government would complete the 9,000 special facility capacity custodial centers in three states of the country by December 2022.

Aregbesola, who disclosed this to newsmen after a facility tour to the 3,000 ultra-modern Capacity Custodial Centre Karshi, Abuja said the 3,000 capacity custodial centers are also located in Kano, Rivers State.

He said the one in Kano was almost completed while the facilities in Rivers and Abuja were at 55% of completion.

The former Governor of Osun State said his desire was to have the first three of the six projects to be completed before this administration ends.
