Former commissioner for youth and sports development in Enugu State

Uchenna Cyril Anioke has been elected as a member of the Executive Committee of the prestigious International Publishers Association IPA, GENEVA, Switzerland.

The outcome of the online election that spanned 2 weeks of voting from 9th -23rd September 2022 was made public in the press release yesterday by the Director, Communications & Freedom to publish, of the international publishers association IPA, James Taylor,

Arising from the meeting of the general assembly of the IPA, KARINE PANSA from Brazil was confirmed the president-elect while GVANTSA JOBAVA from Georgia became IPA Vice-President elect.

Anioke in his reaction said the win was a call to service and an opportunity to reveal that all is well with Enugu State, Nigeria, and Africa, adding that he would devote the next 3 years to showcasing Nigerian and African publishing potentials by paying utmost attention to freedom to publish.
