The Governor of Enugu State Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has reiterated the determination of his administration to provide safe, clean, and healthy water to the people of Enugu State even before the end of his administration.

Ugwuanyi who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources, Ada Nwa-Onye gave this assurance while commissioning and hand-over ceremony of a 40,000 liters of water project to the people Umuogili, Amufie, in Igboeze North Local Government area of Enugu State.

Nwa-Onye said the State Government has been collaborating with development partners for the upliftment and wellbeing of the state in all sectors; adding that Water Aid Nigeria is one such reliable partner in Progress.

Speaking at the occasion, the State Programme Lead of Water Aid Nigeria, Solomon Akpanufot said that the Water Scheme is part of the contribution of Water Aid towards deepening Water, Sanitation and hygiene programme in Enugu State.
