Guinea will face Burundi in a friendly match as part of their preparations for the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures against Nigeria.

The Guineans made it to the final qualifying round without kicking a ball following the withdrawal of their opponent, Uganda, while Olympic Eagles, on the other hand, defeated the Serengeti Boys of Tanzania 3-1 on aggregate to set up a date with their fellow West Africans.

Nigeria will host Guinea in the first leg between March 20-28, 2023, at the Lekan Salami Stadium Adamasingba, Ibadan and the reverse fixture will take place a week later.
