Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, PETER OBI, has reaffirmed his commitment to the party, dismissing rumors of an imminent departure.

There has been serious internal crisis rocking the party, with many claimimg that OBI  may be considering switching to another political platform, despite being assured the 2027 ticket at the convention.

However, OBI while fielding questions from newsmen  in Bauchi yesterday, shortly after commissioning a hand pump for water supply in Sabon Layi community, a suburb of Bauchi metropolis,  affirmed that he has no intentions of leaving anytime soon, and declared that he is not in any way desperate to be Nigeria’s President at any point in his life.

He noted that the internal crisis rocking the opposition party was not abnormal, describing it as an in-house problem and will be solved amicably as a family.
