President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday commiserated with the former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu after losing his 61-year-old wife, Ifeoma Ada.
Buhari also consoled the family of the Chief Whip of the Senate, friends, and associates, urging them to trust in God for comfort and care during the difficult period while he prayed for the repose of her soul, and fortitude for the family to bear the loss.
The President in a statement by his senior special adviser on media and publicity Femi Adesina believes the testimonies of Ifeoma’s fear of God and charity should provide strength for loved ones, knowing she lived well.
Similarly the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in the just-concluded election, Atiku Abubakar also expressed sadness over Ifeoma’s death.
The bereaved chieftain of the All Progressives Congress announced that a memorial service in honor of his late wife would be held in the United States of America.
