President Bola Tinubu yesterday said a few people stole Nigeria’s commonwealth under the guise of subsidy in the last 40 years, lamenting that Nigerians are suffering the pains of the loot.

The President during his speech at the second-term inauguration of Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State in Owerri said he is well-attuned to the concerns of citizens, assuring them that the challenges brought on by the very essential reforms are being addressed.

He assured Nigerians not to be bothered about the mass exodus of skilled workers from the country, guaranteeing the citizens that the Federal Government in collaboration with sub-nationals will train more persons to fill the professional gap now conspicuous in health, tech, and other sectors.

Tinubu also assured the people of the South-East that the peace they are enjoying now will be better.

Nigeria currently has a new record-highunemployment rate of 33.3 percent.
