TWO NIGERIAN ACTORS TO BE PART OF THE LION KING PREQUEL.

Nigerian actors THEO SOMOLU and FOLAKE OLOWOFOYEKU will be part of a prequel to the Disney classic movie THE LION KING, titled MUFASA, which delves into the origin story of Simba’s father.

OLOWOFOYEKU brings a wealth of experience to the project with captivating performances in both movies and television series, including her role in the ongoing popular sitcom, BOB HEARTS ABISHOLA, DEATH RACE 2050, FEMALE FIGHT CLUB, and the epic adventure, 10,000 A.D.

SOMOLU also contributes his knowledge from previous projects, such as the children’s television program Mighty Express, and Baggio: The Divine Ponytail.

MUFASA which will hit the cinemas on December 20, 2024, will explore the circumstances that led TAKA down a dark road and the complicated nature of their relationship.
