SHATTA WALE FEATURED FOR FREE ON BASKET MOUTH’S NEW ALBUM.

Ace standup comedian and movie producer Basketmouth has revealed that Ghanaian dancehall singer Shatta Wale didn’t charge for his feature on Goalkeeper, the first song on his upcoming third album Uburu.

The 44-year-old announced at an album listening party in Lagos over the weekend that after Shatta Wale sent him the song, he stated that they have been friends for years and he hasn’t done anything for him before so he is giving him the song 100 percent.

Uburu, an Igbo word for brain follows the release of Yabasi in 2020, and Horoscopes in 2022.

The album is split into two parts of seven songs each, and the first chapter will be available for streaming on October 20 while the second chapter is set for a February 2024 release.
